Very good location, beautifully renovated, worth the money, just get the earplugs

Liked: It was beautiful and very clean!

Disliked: Easily can hear the other room, even if the neighbours are not necessarily loud, I needed my earplugs

    Tolerable for a night

    Liked: location, room pictures

Disliked: The host was friendly and responsive in communication, which I appreciated. However, the stay had several significant issues that affected comfort and value for money. There was no hot water for about a week, and the internet did not work for two days and was very spotty throughout my stay. These are basic amenities that should be reliable. The apartment also has humidity issues, including some mold, and requires regular ventilation, which can be uncomfortable due to temperature and insects. Cleanliness and maintenance could be improved. The floors were often dirty, and some cleaning practices and tools seemed inadequate. Additionally, parts of the property (such as terrace furniture) are more worn than shown in the photos. There were also some comfort issues, including noise from doors/windows in the wind and a delayed repair when a window broke. Overall, while communication was good, the level of maintenance and reliability did not match the price paid.

We loved our cool calm sanctuary and scrumptious stay in the heart of the city:)

Liked: We fell in love with this place. The Frégates room had a calming sanctuary-like vibe, cool and quiet, with a private bathroom across the courtyard, so that the room feels more like an apartment. The breakfast was scrumptious, the rooftop was lovely, and we were well positioned to enjoy our explorations at the heart of the city.

Disliked: The room was a bit cold and humid at this time of year (mid-March) although I'm sure this becomes an asset later in the season! At first we were worried that the Frégates room wouldn't feel private since it's on the first floor on the courtyard just above the lobby and dining area, but in fact no one was usually there and fellow guests were quiet and courteous, so it was all good.

Liked: Great room with a perfect location in the Medina. Very clean and welcoming.

Disliked: When we checked in we needed change for the property tax, the staff member said he would get it to us but we never saw him again so never got our money. Also we messaged asking about breakfast one day but never got a reply.

    Excellent stay

Liked: Superb location, Leo and other staff very lovely and friendly, all around great experience. I'd highly recommend this riad and I'd stay again. Largely quiet but you hear occasional noises as is expected being so in the middle. Access to terrace to enjoy the sunshine is a great bonus. Wifi generally worked great for me apart from occasional hiccup here and there, which is expected in Morocco.
