Authentic experience
Liked: We really enjoyed our stay here! The apartment is very cozy and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It’s located right in the heart of the old Medina, which makes it perfect for exploring Essaouira on foot with a 10-minute walk to the beach. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the apartment has everything you need to feel at home. We loved the cozy atmosphere and the great location. Overall, a lovely place and a very enjoyable stay. We would definitely come back!
The appartment is very moldy, we cancelled the stay but the owner did not return us the money
Disliked: The appartment is extremely moldy. It should not even be listed, this is a health hazard. My girlfriend has asthma and she was coughing for the rest of the day after a half an hour stay. Very irresponsible to list this, in a well regulated country the owner could be subject to a legal action.
Fair price, private rooftop, needs updating, no wifi
Liked: Stefano was helpful. He walked me from the bus station to the place, which I very much appreciate. It would have been very hard to find with out the help. He was very receptive to my messages too. I had the top unit, not sure if there are others, so it felt very private, with my own rooftop and access. The location was deep in the heart of the media. Great location. Place was actually quite spacious. Decent price for what youre getting.
Disliked: Not the place for you if you if youre looking for a clean looking place. Its old and could definitely needs lots of updating. Not much frills to this place minus the private rooftop accesss. It had all the necessary things- kitchen, bathroom, fridge, TV, etc. but thats about it. No Wifi. It was at the end of a very narrow pathway, then into a tiny door, up several dark stairs where cats often roamed and even some cat poop and food scraps/bones at some point. Local families living in the rooms as you go up. I felt safe the whole time but you may feel a little uncertain at first since its dark and at the end of a very thing alley. All good for me though since I've been to India etc. No worries.
Magical holiday
Liked: Stephano was such a gentleman and provided fresh fruit and snacks. I appreciated being met to The apartment was perfect, spacious quiet, and you could hear the sound of the wind and waves at night. In the heart of the medina to. Absolutely loved it and wouldn't hesitate coming back again. Thank you so much as we both had just the best of times in Essaouira. Magical

Liked: The property was perfectly located. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking, even spices and oil. The owner even gave us fresh eggs from his farm, with potatoes and other goodies. The owner was very kind and helpful. It wasn’t noisy at night, which was really appreciated. There was a rooster, so if you’re sensible to that sound bring earplugs and it should be good.
Disliked: You should know that there is no WIFI. We didn’t know that before arriving and it was a bit disappointing since it wasn’t written on booking (we are not traveling with a SIM card). Also, it wasn’t a problem for us, but there is a lot of stairs to get to the apartment and they are not really clean/lit. The overall cleanliness was ok, but the bathroom could use a little refresh (it was a bit stinky) and there were ants on/in the kitchen counter.
