Disliked: My room at the front was noisy at night.
The location and the staff were so nice BUT the whole place needs a renovation & some rooms can’t be rented due to t
Liked: The staff was AMAZING. Murad and the other guy working there were very polite and nice & the location is Wonderful
Disliked: The room I got was big but the smell in it was very very very bad. There was clearly a problem in the bathroom or in the sewage system. That makes you smell it the whole time even in your bed.
A great place to stay in Essaouira with lovely staff
Liked: Situated very well and a short walk from everything, and the room was very nice.

Liked: Great Location in heart of Essaouira. Very Friendly helpful staff. Good breakfast in the morning. Also Riad Aylal can prepare an evening meal for you on request. Order in morning for the evening. Fatiha and the staff are a great team to help you enjoy your stay. I have stayed twice before and would again
Disliked: Some noise outside in street til late into evening. I needed the window open for a fresh cool breeze helps me sleep. I understand the Riad can't control this.
Liked: A very poor riad. When I arrived, it turned out that my room was already occupied and I was offered an inferior room instead. I did not agree to this because it was not what I had paid for. After long discussions and my refusal to accept it, I was offered a larger room. The owners' dissatisfaction was obvious. I agreed to take that room, so the problem was resolved, but I do not think this was fair. In addition, the photos show something completely different from reality, especially the rooftop. The location was good, but that is the only positive aspect.
