The place to stay in Essauira
Liked: Very friendly and welcoming staff, the Riad is decorated with good taste charm, room is big enough and clean, the breakfast on the rooftop terrace was the cherry on the pie

Liked: There’s no better place than this Riad. As central as it gets, close to everything, full of charm, and with incredibly attentive staff. Without a doubt, the best place to stay in Essaouira!

Amazing guesthouse
Liked: The staff were friendly. Food was great on the terrace in October. Just awkward to eat with chairs taller than the coffee table height. But minor detail. The omelet was really good. We asked the cook for the recipe. Rooms were clean and modern. Well located in the medina and by the gates as well as the beach.
Disliked: I thought it was a bit odd to come back mid afternoon to see your room door wide opened. Nothing was taken but odd. We locked the room when we came back for a quick break. We only stayed one night. And the cleaning lady reorganized some of our stuff laying around. Like she put our clothing on the shelf instead of on the floor. Just odd but thoughtful.

The Best of the Best!!
Liked: Riad Babette exceeded our expectations is every way! We felt like the location was perfect, since it is located inside the medina, but on a quieter street. Everyone who works there is so kind, helpful, and friendly. The first day, Mohamed had one of the workers (can't remember his name) walk us to an excellent restaurant so we wouldn't get lost! The breakfasts are homemade every morning by Sofia and served on the rooftop terrace. Each one was varied and delicious. On our last day, we had to leave at 5:30am before breakfast service started, and Sofia packed us a lovely breakfast to take along on our journey! The rooms are bright and clean, and the bed was super comfortable with easily accessible outlets for all of our needs. I chose this riad because my name is Babette and I thought it would be fun to stay there, but I never expected it to be this amazing!! They even sent me home with a Riad Babette hand towel as a gift. This is truly a very special place at a very reasonable price; I promise you will love it! We would stay there again in a heartbeat! Mohamed, Sofia, and Imad and one other person whose name I can't remember THANK YOU for EVERYTHING! You made our stay extra special!!!
