Lovely staff and generous breakfast

Liked: Lovely stay at this Riad. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Every morning we had a delicious, simple breakfast that was more than enough to start the day. I really liked the security setup: you only get a key for your room, and the staff opens the main entrance for you. It makes you feel very safe and welcome. The location is perfect, as you can easily walk to both the Medina and the beach. On top of that, the rooms were nicely cleaned and tidied up every day. Highly recommended!
Disliked: Unfortunately, the noise level at night was a major issue. Every single night of our stay between midnight and 1:00 AM, men were arguing so loudly in the alley directly under our window that it woke me up, even though I am usually a very deep sleeper. While the Riad itself is not to blame for this street noise, it ruined our sleep every night.:( Everything else was perfect.;)

Disliked: Très mauvaise expérience – chambre non conforme et conditions d’hygiène inacceptables Je suis extrêmement déçue de cette expérience. J’avais réservé une chambre Deluxe en me basant notamment sur le fait qu’elle était indiquée au rez-de-chaussée, ce qui était très important pour moi puisque je voyageais avec mon bébé et que je voulais éviter les escaliers avec un bébé et les bagages. À notre arrivée, on nous a finalement donné une chambre au 2e étage, contrairement à ce qui était indiqué lors de ma réservation. Mais le pire était l’état de la chambre. Il y avait une très forte odeur de moisissure et d’humidité, tellement forte qu’il était difficile de rester dans la chambre. Mon bébé a commencé à tousser et je n’ai moi-même pas réussi à supporter l’odeur. Le couvre-lit était sale, les toilettes et la salle de bain n’étaient pas correctement nettoyées et l’état général de la chambre était loin de ce que l’on peut attendre d’une chambre Deluxe payée 155,96 CAD. J’ai pris des photos comme preuves de l’état de la chambre. Nous avons signalé la situation immédiatement, mais aucune solution satisfaisante ne nous a été proposée. Résultat: une nuit très difficile et un hébergement que nous n’avons pas pu apprécier ni utiliser normalement. Pour moi, le problème n’est pas une question de confort ou d’exigence particulière: une chambre doit au minimum être propre, sans forte odeur de moisissure et conforme à ce qui est annoncé lors de la réservation. Je déconseille fortement cet établissement aux personnes voyageant avec un bébé ou un jeune enfant, surtout si la propreté et les conditions d’hygiène sont importantes pour vous. Expérience très décevante et absolument pas à la hauteur du prix payé.
