We had a lovely stay and appreciated the warm hospitality
Liked: We had a lovely stay at Riad Dar Maya, made especially enjoyable by the warm hospitality and excellent location! Youssef was a wonderful host, always welcoming and happy to help. He kindly arranged our private transfers to and from Marrakesh with Aziz, a reliable and friendly driver. We also appreciated being able to ask for drinks at any time of day or night. Iman, who served us breakfast, was such a lovely lady! We really enjoyed the freshly prepared breakfasts, with delicious crêpes, pastries and eggs. The riad itself was relaxing, with comfortable lounges, rooftop with a jacuzzi, air conditioning and daily housekeeping. Its location in the medina was excellent, within easy walking distance of the ramparts, cafés and restaurants. A big thank you to Youssef, Iman and everyone at Riad Dar Maya for making our stay so enjoyable!
Gorgeous Riad, lovely people and a great location
Liked: The property and the rooms are gorgeous. The staff are lovely people. Youssef the manager was amazing and helped make all the arrangements for us. The entire staff was lovely. The Moroccan breakfasts are large and delicious. The location is central in the Medina and within walking distance to all the sites, shopping and restaurants. We felt completely safe as two female travellers. Do get the transfer/pickup service and porter to make your arrival more seamless.

A beautiful Riad, I just wish I stayed a few more days
Liked: It is, put simply, beautiful. Amazing vibes in our room, in the courtyard, and on each landing on the stairs. The service was great, the breakfast, delicious. I did not really contact them in advance and despite that they had someone to meet me and carry what might have been too much luggage. I will likely come back to Essaouira and stay here for many more days.
Disliked: My only regret is that I didn’t stay longer.
