  Great riad in heart of Essaouira

  Liked: We had the suite with the pool and it was fantastic to be able to have a swim in the heated pool on arrival. We also had a lovely, copious breakfast on the terrace of our room. The staff were all lovely and the location of the riad is excellent. The bed was the most comfortable bed we have ever had in a hotel. The room was really nice and well-equipped. We would love to come back.

  Disliked: As previous reviews have noted, there is a sliding door with cut outs separating the bedroom and bathroom, so maybe not the place to stay with a new partner! We were not bothered by this at all, but some people might be. Also, again, we were prepared for this, but the call to prayer is very loud in the room. My partner managed to almost sleep through it, but it woke me up early morning. However the bed is so comfortable that it was easy to get back to sleep.
