  We did have a good time in Essaouira, despite the change of hotel

  Disliked: The hotel was under renovation when we went there, and we were taken to another hotel nearby. We were not informed about this in advance, and the standard was lower than I would have booked.

  Excellent value for money, great location and delicious breakfast!

  Liked: The location is excellent and the staff are kind and helpful. Thank you to Maria for arranging a taxi on our behalf and to the lovely breakfast staff. Our room was nice and clean.

  Disliked: It was very cold in our room due to poor weather and additional thick blankets would have made our sleep more comfortable.

  Liked: The breakfast was prompt and alright

  Disliked: The property did not meet my expectations at all. We were given a room that did not look like the photos, the bed was small and uncomfortable. The floors were dirty, the bathroom had no door so it was basically annexed to the room. There were no toiletries(shower gel or shampoo), there was only a soap that was not very efficient. The toilet seat was yellow and I could not use it. There was mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. The drainage of the shower did not work properly thus inundating the whole bathroom. As we visited early march it was quite cold in the bedroom. There was no AC or Air heaters. We left the property after one night.
