  I would book here again for sure! The staff and location make it a great place to stay. I just ignored the little bother

  Liked: My room was lovely it was so bright and sunny! I should have booked one floor up for a better view though. My view was still nice there were a lot of tropical trees nearby. The old city wall is right outside the windows. The bed was very comfortable but it was hard to get into being between two walls I had to climb in from the foot of the bed. There was lighting and electrical outlets at both sides for charging. The location was perfect, very close to the bus stop which I needed, an easy walk along the water takes you over to the fortress and some stunning views. You are already in the Medina so it’s a short walk to shops and restaurants etc. The staff there are exceptional, Najete was the woman I spoke to the most she was lovely and always helpful. And a great cook! I had dinner there one night and it was delicious, though the portions were way too large for me. Breakfasts were up on the rooftop patio and were so good! I’m still thinking about the tagine eggs! They were so kind to arrange an early breakfast for me the day I had to catch the 9am bus. All the staff that I encountered were friendly and helpful! The view from the rooftop was beautiful, you could see the beach not far away as well as the old mosque and city walls.

  Disliked: There is no air conditioning which wasn’t a huge deal as it was not too hot, but in warmer months I think it would be a problem. I kept my window open a bit at night but had to be sure to have the screen on as cats wander along the city wall and one tried to come into my room which I kind of enjoyed but felt it might not be wise lol…. There are two windows but only one screen, I’m sure a second window being open would help keep the room cool at night. This is not any fault of the property, but there is a walkway below the Riad which can be very noisy at night. There were groups of loud people hanging around late at night and motorcycles are allowed to drive through which is surprising because it’s not a street… I slept with earplugs every night.

  Stylish riad in the medina, amazing staff

  Liked: Exceptional breakfasts with Nagette’s home cooked Msemmen,orange semolina cake, homemade fig jam …very delicious. Our room was comfortable and stylish. We had fresh sheets and towels every few days. The staff are warm, friendly and incredibly helpful.

  Homey, central and wonderful!

  Liked: Loved our stay here, such warm staff making our days in essasouira amazing. Roof top was also great and the breakfast.

  Disliked: No AC in the room (however was not crucial due to the mild temperatures) but can be good to consider if you come mid-summer!

  Amazing breakfast, friendly staff, near heart of main streets

  Liked: Clean, nice staff (owner Nagette was very sweet), amazing hot breakfast prepared fresh and free. Room had private shower with soap/shampoo/hair dryer, and a very comfortable bed. Near the heart of town in old city. You must park outside of old city walls, no driving inside, so find a parking lot and pay $7/night.

  Disliked: No real sea view from room on floor 1 but gorgeous rooftop views and otherwise great room.

  Super beautiful room

  Liked: Very good breakfast, friendly staff, and great location (quiet but central enough). But most of all, the room was spectacular: both the room and the bathroom was extremely tastefully furnished and stylish, there were two windows facing outside (one with an insect mesh) - this was easily the most beautiful room we stayed at during our trip to Morocco.

  Explore Essaouira from a comfortable home away from home

  Liked: I loved my bedroom. It was very comfortable and I slept very well. I love the rooftop deck. And I really did like the location as well. Najet and the other women who work there were great. The sea breeze was an extra added bonus.
