  Loved it!!

  Liked: I absolutely loved it! What a fantastic place to stay in Essaouira. The location in the medina is perfect. It's close to a main shopping street, the city wall, the beach, and lots of shops and restaurants, but the street it's on is pretty quiet. No a/c, but it doesn't need it (we were there mid-June). The washing machine works great and was so convenient to have. The interior looks just like the photos, and is gorgeous. We loved the winding staircase, and the rooftop terrace with great views over the medina and to the ocean. We had a rent car and left it in Parking Redouan for the 4 days we were there. I recommend saving the riad's location on google maps, and taking a picture of the front door so you can find it easily the first time you go out. I would 100% stay there again.

  Relaxing stay in great location with chef

  Liked: Lovely house in great location, new but sympathetically designed in traditional style. Juliette is a great host, thoughtful and caring and Meryem a great cook!

  Wonderful environment for a family holiday

  Liked: Fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds. Well lit shower rooms with gel and shampoo. Washing machine and dryer if needed. Great views from terrace. Delicious meal prepared by the housekeeper

  Disliked: Some cushions on the roof terrace would be welcome.

  Wonderful house in convenient location. Would 100% recommend for a stay in Essaouira

  Liked: Beautiful house and great location in the medina for easy access to all shops and restaurants. The roof terrace is wonderful.

  Disliked: Beds were too firm for us but this is personal preference and it was quite noisy from the street outside. Also would have been nice to have a few groceries left for us, milk, bread, eggs etc.

  Beautifully decorated interiors in an ideal location, spacious rooms and rooftop deck with views

  Liked: The accommodation is very well located in the Medina. It is comfortable, spacious and beautifully decorated with great attention to every detail. It has 3 levels of living space, plus a rooftop deck with plenty of seating options. That does mean a lot of walking up and down stairs, but we were fine with that. The whole place is very private, with a full kitchen, washer/dryer (we didn't use), 4 beds and 2 small but lovely baths on the two upper levels (both with separate toilets). We were only a couple so used the top level bedroom which had a large comfy bed and was very bright and airy. We had a little rain and it was windy/cool off and on while we were there in April, so we didn't get to use the roof deck much, but did go up a few times to check out the great views. Wifi is strong throughout. Juliette, the host, is absolutely lovely and met us at the beginning and end of our stay. She even bought me some pastries for my birthday! Arrival was easy - you can get a porter to help with bags from the car/taxi park if needed, but it is only a 5 min walk into the Medina.

  Disliked: Nothing really. Maybe provide a full length mirror:)

  A very convenient attractive and well equipped home in the centre of the old town

  Liked: Very attractive town house in the centre of the medina full of local character. Accommodation very adequate for our group of four; room too for another two or three children. Kitchen was also very adequate, though we mostly eat out.

  Disliked: We would have liked a few comfortable chairs and an electric fire as the nights are quite cold in January.
