Exceptional stillness in the chaotic madina
Liked: It’s location was perfect. The rooms were very clean. The staff were what made the stay truly exceptional. So helpful, so genuine, and serving with love.
Disliked: The rooms were extremely dark even when we turned all the lights on, and the windows weren’t enough because we were on the ground floor.
Liked: Location, service, the riad is very beautiful, breakfast on the terrace! Omar and his wife were extremely friendly and helpful and kind, highly recommend

Disliked: The only thing stopping this being a 10/10 experience was that someone was smoking on the first floor where our room was located.

Liked: We absolutely loved our stay in Essaouira, and this riad made it even more special. Our host, Geraldine, was fantastic. She was incredibly helpful in showing us how to get around the city and gave us so many valuable recommendations and tips. The rest of the staff were also extremely kind and welcoming throughout our stay. The riad is perfectly located in the heart of Essaouira’s Medina, and it was spotlessly clean. We especially loved having breakfast on the beautiful terrace, with a wonderful view of the sea. We truly loved our stay and would happily recommend this riad to anyone visiting Essaouira!

Disliked: Very disappointing experience. We were asked to pay €64 in cash for taxes that were never mentioned when we made the reservation. Even during check-in, no one informed us about these extra charges, so it came as a complete surprise. To make matters worse, Madame Géraldine was aggressive and unprofessional in the way she spoke to us. Her attitude was unacceptable and made us feel very uncomfortable. I would not recommend staying here.
