Liked: Such helpful staff- fascinating area! So many cats!

Disliked: I was worried when I first got there because the city was so damp from the sea. But I grew to love the whole place- especially our room!

Liked: Nice fresh breakfast with very pleasant staff at breakfast. Well decorated and lots of light. Light tidying service each day with bed made and toiletries topped up, rubbish taken out each day etc. Well situated, near the main shopping areas, beach and port.

Disliked: On check in we had to wait 30 minutes for somebody to arrive for us to check in. We would have been standing outside if another guest had not let us in. The property was very humid and damp as other reviews have suggested. It did appear that mould spots had been painted over. I don’t think the sheets and towels were unwashed but there were several stains which was not pleasant. Our biggest problem was the noise - we could not sleep due to extremely loud club music playing all evening until 11:00pm each night, and later on Saturday night (we stayed Thursday-Sunday). This was not very zen oasis. Unfortunately I can’t upload videos to show the noise level.

Liked: The breakfast was delicious and the location is very convenient, making it easy to get around and explore the area. The host was very welcoming and made the stay even more pleasant. What was especially helpful was the possibility to do laundry for a small fee, with everything ready the next day.

Disliked: The lack of a proper wall separating the bathroom from the room was quite uncomfortable
