Beautiful, very very clean apartment near the beach
Liked: We really enjoyed our stay at Karima’s in Essaouira. It is very clean, beautifully decorated, and fully equipped with everything you might need, it is more beautiful than the pictures. The location is great, just a 6-minute walk to the beach, about 40 minutes on foot to the medina, or only 5 minutes by car. The hospitality was excellent: Hassan, the manager, and his wife were very kind and welcoming. They greeted us with tea and delicious Moroccan gâteaux, and the apartment itself had a lovely touch of bakhour fragrance upon arrival. The building also has a swimming pool, which is a nice bonus. Mrs. Karima didn’t hesitate to recommend great options for activities such as spa treatments, quad biking, and horse riding. Thank you for your warm hospitality! Till next time Inchaellah.

Liked: Peaceful environment, Tremendous ambiance, everything to furnish was choosen so wisely and with artistic expression. Host was very enthusiastic and energetic to welcome.
Disliked: Some heat issue, may be tropical change of guest. But it went nice after evening.
Good value and convenient apartment
Liked: Karima was very responsive with any issue.
Disliked: Well functioning little cute apartment. AC would help. It wasn’t hot but there were few flies which would be avoided by runnning AC. Also, elevator and lobby are very dark. So getting in and out you need to be careful.
Nice apartment but no sea view
Liked: Lovely apartment & close to the beach but there was NOT a Seaview. Great restaurant downstairs which did an exquisite tagine, great cafe also near the entrance which did a lovely breakfast. I also enjoyed a hammam & massage at the Sidi Magdoul hamman just 10 minutes walk away which is well worth a visit. The apartment is well equipped & nicely furnished.
Disliked: NO Seaview. I didn't like the attitude of the neighbours who spied on us & made false claims that we were noisy. Our apartment was next to the lift so everyone had to walk past our door & could hear everything so no privacy. As my partner was recovering from open heart surgery the last thing we wanted was stress but as a mixed race couple we do encounter prejudice sadly. I preferred to speak to the owner Karima as she was polite & I did not feel comfortable with Hassan who videoed our door & private life, i did not find him friendly. There is a lot of constructive noise in the area. The shower fell out of the cradle each time I used it. No hot water on arrival so was welcomed with cold tea & a cold shower.
