Fabulous
Excellent location, great host
Liked: Excellent location, warm and welcoming host, room was clean and decent, although a little small. Bathroom was ok but probably needs a little updating.
Liked: Good location a short walk from most of the souks and easy to find. Well organised, friendly kind, helpful staff, nothing was too much trouble at all.
Disliked: I struggled with stairs to second floor but fof most fitter folk this wouldnt be a problem. Uncertain of how safe to walk up.the alleys if alone at nights but as I was with my.friend it felt safer. No breakfast, tea or coffee making facilities but manager was kind and mde us tea or coffee for a small price. Unfortunately we questioned the bill as booking.com failed to notify the manager of the genus discounted price quoted on booking so they charged us full price.

Liked: I had such a lovely stay at Wave Mogador and really enjoyed my time there. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Essaouira’s medina, which made it so easy to explore the city and walk to the main attractions. The staff were genuinely welcoming, friendly, and always happy to help. They made me feel comfortable and well looked after throughout my stay. My room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. I also really enjoyed the relaxed and peaceful atmosphere, which made the whole stay even more enjoyable. Overall, I had a great experience and felt very happy with my choice to stay here. I would definitely come back to Wave Mogador on my next visit to Essaouira and would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay.
Staff were lovely and welcoming we would like to come back
Liked: As soon as we arrived we felt really welcomed by Hicham in the Riad it was cosy with a traditional Moroccan style, our rooms felt clean and tidy when we arrived and they were cleaned every morning. Hicham was really helpful and told us good places to visit one of us is vegan so this helped to know and there were good food options in the Mandala society. It was also close by to the markets and the sea. We loved our stay here and would come back.
The bed is comfortable, there are no dishes in the room and no TV remote, there's a lot of noise in the street
