Beautiful and well appoint apartment
Liked: It is a great location. We spend 5 days in Haarlem and traveled to AMS for two days of tours. I am so happy we stayed in Haarlem not AMS. Barbera's house is amazing location, an amazing deck you can see the church. Very centrally located.
Disliked: The little stairs are always trick, but that is Europe.
Beautiful downtown stay in Haarlem
Liked: Easy walking distance to central town and train station. Beautiful big windows with lots of light and the balcony was a great plus! The suite itself was very nice with highlighted original beams in the vaulted ceiling. Having a washing machine was essential for extended travel.
Disliked: The washing machine had a bit of mold but was easy to remove with the provided cleaning products. The host likes to communicate on WhatsApp. From experience, this app is not secure and I personally would have preferred going through Booking or Signal. This is not necessarily a bad thing, just a comment. It was easy enough to download and delete once the stay was completed.

Great location for larger groups
Liked: The property is very large by Dutch standards (city center no-less). There were two decent sized bedrooms, each on their own floor, each containing a larger and a smaller bed. There was also a large living room and large kitchen/dining room, a private patio, and a laundry room. I'd describe it as a nice apartment rather than a hotel. Most northern Dutch living rooms face the street with a large clear window but this one was tucked back behind, nicely private.
Disliked: Most things in the Netherlands are cash-less, so putting together the cash for the city tax was an annoyance. I wish we could have paid that as part of our booking.
