  Great base to explore Haarlem!

  Liked: Hello I'm Local is a great place to stay. It's a close walk to the train station and to the city centre. The room was clean, comfortable, warm, and the bathroom was great and well-equipped. There's a shared kitchen you can use with a fridge and shelves for food and it's a great addition to a trip. (There's also a café, but I didn't try it, maybe next time). The staff was lovely and super helpful. Kaj in particular helped me find a place to rent a bike and had some great recommendations for Haarlem and around. I had a great time, and I would come back!

  Disliked: The only tiny flaw is that the lights in the bedroom could be a little brighter.

  Highly recommended! Everything is fantastic

  Liked: I have very little experience with hostels but I’m pretty sure this is the nicest one on this planet. Not only are the rooms immaculate and very cozy, but the staff is warm, friendly and very welcoming. The cafe is great, the public spaces are wonderful, everything about this place is top notch. 10/10 would recommend and stay here again.

  A great place

  Liked: Hands down, the best part of the place is the hostel staff. Both the hired staff and the volunteers make the hostel an even more welcoming place for travelers. The facilities are very nice, too.

  Disliked: The only constructive criticism I have about the place is its kitchen and guest food storage. It still lacks a bit more organization, utensils, and more space to handle the number of guests they usually have.

  Liked: Very nice staff. Very good location. Clean

  Disliked: Facilities are below average You don’t get a guard rail for top bunk. No privacy curtain, no plug base for beds
