  Great place to stay

  Liked: It was a nice apartment in a great location. Haarlem was a very beautiful city with good access to the coast and also Amsterdam. We had a great time!

  Disliked: Nice clean property. Newly renovated bathroom. Great location next to the city center.

  Great stay! Quiet but right near the centre of beautiful Haarlem

  Liked: Sander is a great host! He is superb at communication and makes every effort to help with transport, places to go etc. It was lovely to be greeted by Sander rather than a key in a lock box! The property is located ten minutes walk from the centre of Haarlem and five minutes from bus stops, it is a great location! Plenty of cafes, bars, restaurants and some super independent shops. Bakeries are open early and have an excellent selection of baked goods. We would highly recommend ‘ Toast ‘ for breakfast as the menu is extensive and interesting. The restaurant ‘ Gandhi ‘ is also very good. There is twenty four hour parking nearby which is very clean, well lit, and toilets. It is a safe and secure place. This is paid parking but well worth it as it is easier than trying to find a street parking. Yes, the stairs to the apartment are quite narrow and steep, but an overnight bag, small case or medium rucksack make life easy and the climb is well worth it!The apartment is very light and airy with a lovely green view. The neighbourhood is friendly, very quiet and safe. There is a lovely big bathroom with a super shower, plenty of lovely towels and a bath. The bed is very comfortable. The apartment is very well decorated.

  Disliked: Not a complaint but more kitchen equipment would help so you are able to use the stove top and the combination microwave, pans, casserole dish and some sharper knives eg: bread knife, vegetable knife etc. A check is necessary to see that previous guests have washed up properly.

  Liked: Spacious accommodation a stones throw from the centre. Lovely quiet location. Some nice touches such as coffee machine, selection of teas etc Bed was comfy and Bath/shower both great.

  Disliked: As many have said very narrow stairs. Not for people with mobility issues, lots of luggage or small children. Would prefer a slightly more comfortable sofa in living area. While very close to centre it was a 25 min walk from train station, not an issue had we known so that’s our bad for not checking!

  Liked: Wonderful apartment in the beautiful city of Haarlem. Our host was friendly and helpful, and always available when we needed him. The beds were great and the apartment spacious enough for our family of four to feel very comfortable.

  fabulous

  Liked: very friendly staff, beautiful rooms, well kept and clean. Very comfortable and we were able to walk easily to Haarlam and restaurants etc.
