Hotel Malts & Haarlem are great

Liked: Check-in at Hotel Malts was very personable and welcoming. Communication with Annemarie & Henk prior to arrival and during our stay was excellent and very much appreciated. Haarlem is a lovely place to visit and Henk & Annemarie share their love and knowledge of the city with great enthusiasm. Breakfast was lovely...the freshly squeezed orange juice, coffee and healthy yoghurt options were yummy. Access to the breakfast area throughout the day/evening with tea/coffee on tap and optional mini bar at fair prices were a lovely touch. Luggage storage on the last day of our stay was easily arranged. Thank you Annemarie, Henk (& Miele) 😊

Great place to stay in Haarlem

Liked: Great hosts, so personable and friendly, providing us with lots of suggestions for places to visit. It was situated very close to the center of town and about 10 minutes from the train station. The room was very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with fresh fruit, muesli, yogurt, delicious breads and meats and cheeses. The hosts shared so much about Haarlem and the Netherlands. I learned a lot! Thank you for a lovely stay.

Disliked: Stairs were a bit steep. Especially with luggage but we managed ok. Especially with the help of our hosts.

Bed & Breakfast Hotel Malts in Haarlem, NL, and its owner/operators, are gems

Liked: Hank and Annemarie, our hosts and owners of the hotel, were exceptional, like new members of our family! Not only are they a superb team who work well together, they took time from their busy schedule to chat with us and not only provide information about things to do and places to see, but also to discover what our interests were. We weren't the only guests - without blinking, Hank and Annemarie easily switched from one language to another as they dealt with, and helped all of us.

Disliked: That our association with Hank and Annemarie couldn't have been longer.

We had such a great time at The Malts Hotel in Haarlem. A top quality hotel and super hosts

Liked: We had such a great stay at The Malts Hotel in Haarlem. From the moment we walked in, the welcome was genuinely warm, Henk and Annemarie (the hosts) are super friendly and made us feel at home straight away. They’re the kind of people who clearly enjoy what they do, and it shows. The room was spotless. Everything felt fresh, clean, and well looked after, with comfy beds. It’s one of those places where you can tell they take pride in keeping things perfect for guests. The location was great for visiting Haarlem. Although it was in the city centre we slept very well at night. Overall, a brilliant stay, amazing hosts, a lovely welcome, super breakfast and a comfortable room. I’d happily book again next time I’m in Haarlem.

Disliked: Nothing to not like really apart from the steep stairs which some visitors may find a challenge. Our hosts always offerred to help with our cases so thank you.
