  Off the regular tourists’ path, where you can experience true day-to-day life in Rotterdam, yet also a bit of feeling of

  Liked: Such a serene location with an amazing view of a beautiful 1648 windmill. Sitting beside a canal, you experience everyday life in Rotterdam while feeling like you are not in the city, giving you the best of both worlds. Groceries are a short walk away, or can even be delivered. The owner’s Harlinger horses are curious and gentle with other livestock nearby as well. The ducks and swans in and alongside the canal add to the beauty and peacefulness of the surroundings.

  Disliked: Slightly hard to figure out just where to enter, but well worth it.

  Liked: Absolutely gorgeous location, really comfy and well decorated house. Peaceful place, great for relaxing.

  Disliked: Distance to public transit. Obviously the owners cannot do much about that, but the nearest bus stop was a 20 minute walk.

  Liked: Near the river

  Disliked: I didn't like that as a smoker I was told they didn't want us to smoke outside of the property because of the trees and wooden decking. They did say in the end that we could smoke cigarettes only near the pizza oven

  Would like to visit the accommodation again!

  Liked: Very nice location with wonderful view to an old windmill situated in a rural area. Two horses kindly greeted us as welcoming gesture. Good accommodation to relax on the beautiful terrace.

  Disliked: To hire bicycles recommended. Next station is little far from the chalet.
