  Great if you value simplicity and want to spend your travel money on other things than hotels

  Liked: My third time staying here. For the very low nightly rate, I got a clean room with plenty of hot water, AC if I needed it, all located in a quiet, charming residential district of Rotterdam. Excellent breakfast every morning, and cheerful help at the front desk. Located in a great neighborhood, the Arts district, and an easy walk to the Centraal station for day trips around the Netherlands or Eurostar jaunts around Europe.

  Disliked: Upgraded bed linens would be nice, but you get what you pay (or don't) for.

  Disliked: The breakfast needs to be better organised. Crockery, location of coffee, food etc was very confusing. It was all over the place.

  Liked: Good location, walking distance to city center. Housekeeping staff very serviceminded and friendly. Nice with the reception area that was also a cafe during daytime.
