  Great location; but disappointing comfort and billing issues

  Liked: The hotel is in a great location, with most attractions within walking distance. The breakfast was also quite good by European hotel standards.

  Disliked: The room was extremely cold, and the air conditioning did not have a proper heating option. You could only increase the temperature setting by 3°C, and even at the highest setting, it continued to blow cold air. I had to sleep in my warmest clothes, which made the stay quite uncomfortable. I also experienced issues with the billing. At check-in, I noticed that my card had been charged more than the amount confirmed by Booking.com. When I raised this with reception and showed my reservation confirmation, I was told that my Genius discount was not visible in their system and that the approximately €50 difference would be refunded. I am still waiting for that refund. Had I not noticed the discrepancy, I might have ended up paying €50 extra. Additionally, I was asked whether I wanted to add breakfast, even though it was already included in my reservation. Slippers were not provided in the room and were only available upon request. I believe basic amenities like these should be available in every room without guests having to ask for them. Overall, there appear to be issues with the hotel's integration with Booking.com. Guests should not have to carefully check every detail of their reservation to avoid potential overcharges or duplicate charges. Combined with the uncomfortable room temperature, these issues made what could have been a pleasant stay rather disappointing.

  Extremely small even for 1 person

  Liked: The site sits centrally and is readily reached by metro or other transit. From that point, you can travel almost anywhere.

  Disliked: The room is unusually compact (I have rarely encountered anything similar). Most of the 15 m² is taken up by the bed. It may suit a one-night adventure, but working with a laptop here is impractical unless on the bed. So, not usable for business at all. There is no room for luggage unless it shares the bed with you as your partner. The lavatory adjoins the bed, while the shower and water closet sit in tiny separate spaces. Cleanliness is not ideal. A piece of chewing gum has been stuck to the floor for perhaps years, and a used hairpin lay in the dust. Completely unpractical for a couple, I guess.
