    Lovely little hotel in Utrecht

Liked: Lovely little hotel, on a quiet street of downtown Utrecht. The rooms were comfortable and amenities were adequate. The staff were friendly.

Disliked: The breakfast was fine, but a bit basic. Access to the rooms is a little tricky, with a small elevator, but not a big deal. The staff were friendly, but could be more helpful. For example, I booked 2 rooms, the bigger one for my wife and me, the smaller for our daughter. However, I noticed on the booking that they were switched, with our daughter having the bigger one. While checking in, I repeatedly asked that they switch the rooms, and the staff smiled and agreed to do it... and did nothing. The smaller room was fine, but I was disconcerted with either the lack of interest in resolving the issue, or the lack of active listening. At breakfast the next morning, again friendly staff but with apparent vague focus on client requests. Nothing serious, to be sure, but somewhat disappointing.

Fantastic 2 night stay. Good value, exceptionally clean and would not hesitate to return

Liked: Fantastic location and the staff were lovely. Great facilities for making own tea and coffee downstairs. Room was a decent size with tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryer and free standing wardrobe, and the bed was comfortable although I thought initially that the pillows were very small but they were surprisingly sufficient. I have no doubt that the lovely attentive staff would have provided extras had I asked. The shower was Really Really Good. The Bathroom was adequate in size but access to the sink was hindered with the static low water faucet. This was a minor detail and overall the room was wonderful and very clean Thank you

    Disliked: All good

Very nice hotel in a great area, close to everything

Liked: The staff was pleasant and efficient. The room was on the first floor, which we liked, but the hotel also has an elevator. It was a good size and the beds and pillows were very good. It also has a very nice bathroom -- not too small. It was very close to the oldest part of town and the two main canals. There were good restaurants all around, including a great bakery/cafe about 4 blocks from the hotel. We did not have the hotel breakfast. Really, everything, including the train station, was a easy walk to from/to the hotel.

    Disliked: Nothing
