  Nice stay for 2 nights, but it would have been excellent if we had a quieter room

  Liked: Great location, comfortable rooms, beautiful grounds.

  Disliked: Our room was quite noisy in the main atrium and ground floor of the Roman wing. There needs to be more soundproofing.

  Lovely place but the facilities were disappointing, especially since they were an important part of

  Liked: I loved the layout of the room with its mezzanine. The staff was excellent. The breakfasts were excellent.

  Disliked: The gym was closed both days, which was a disappointment and the sauna wasn’t working. The pool was small for all of the people using it. The breakfast was very expensive.

  This was a luxury stay at a slightly elevated cost but very pleasant

  Liked: Staff were friendly at the front desk and bar; staff on the grounds were friendly and helpful. Hotel location near the station, the city center and the canal/path was great.

  Disliked: Front desk said I could get a small breakfast or croissant and coffee from the brasserie in the morning, however the staff at brasserie in morning was not receptive when I tried to buy a croissant and go.

  A must in Utrecht

  Liked: Think by far the best hotel in Utrecht. A really nice place, good breakfast, lots of history, and very well located for train station, shopping area and the city of Utrecht
