  Everything you need, nothing you don’t - safe and central

  Liked: Wonderful stay at this welcoming, homely property with the loveliest hosts! Easy walk to everything in Utrecht, including the Centraal Station which was within reach with wheeled luggage. Very pretty neighbourhood, and as a solo-travelling woman I always felt safe arriving back at 9-10 at night. Room was simple but functional - large, clean, bright/sunny, with beautiful views over the canal and further afield. Ample storage and wardrobe space for my 9 day stay, and a kettle for making tea/coffee. Shared bathroom was on the same floor, as was a small fridge for guest use on the landing - both kept spotlessly clean. A full kitchen for guest use was a couple of flights down, however with so many cafes and restaurants nearby I didn’t get a chance to use it. The stairs throughout are VERY steep in traditional Utrecht space-saving style, and whilst not a problem for me, are not for the faint-hearted or those with mobility issues. Thank you so much for having me.

  Liked: I really enjoyed my stay here. A lot of space, access to a kitchen, many balconies to sit on. My room on a top floor was sunny and nice. The hosts are very nice and flexible people.

  Liked: Ver good location and the owners were very nice. Large and confortable room. I had the floor all to myself. I could use the kitchen, and had coffee available. Nice balcony to eat breakfast

  Disliked: It can be noisy, I arrived at a holliday and there was a lot of noise coming from the streets. It is a little outdated but I didn't mind, it feels like staying at a real home. The room was a little hot but I was there during a heat wave

  Kindness and hospitality

  Liked: A wonderful location - within walking distance from the train station and all the major attractions. My room was at the very top, overlooking the canal. A beautiful view. The landlord and landlady are just the kindest, most welcoming people you can think of. I had trouble with my backpack and they helped me fix it. It's the best place to stay in Utrecht. Thank you Frank and Marinel!
