  The stay was acceptable, but nothing more than that. The price was far too high (approximately €250 per night, excluding

  Liked: We really liked the design, the location and the intended (original) layout and character of the rooms.

  Disliked: * Quality of the furnishings and fixtures * Poor technical maintenance of the room: sockets in bathroom without cover (15 cm from water tap), door handles and other fittings are partly loose or in poor condition. Numerous stains on the walls and furniture. * Excessive noise from the external air-conditioning unit - 24/7! * Broken refrigerator (all frozen) * No hooks or suitable places to hang towels (in a family room!). * Very limited storage space for clothing and luggage * No sofa or armchair. * Extremely poor sound insulation throughout the building.

  Liked: Room was clean. Breakfast was good

  Disliked: We have stayed in The Anthony many times and were always very happy with the room we got. However this time we were assigned tiny room, where you could not pass each other, no room to put a suitcase, and had to crawl into bed. This is really below the standard that The Anthony typically offers. When we complained about it they said they could not give us another room. There was a larger room available but they wanted 118€ extra per night, instead of offering it for free to a regular guest! They missed the opportunity to turn this into a great experience, and get a bad review instead.

  Comfortable, modern rooms. A short walk from the train station and city centre

  Liked: Great location, 24 hour reception. Clean and big rooms. Bed was comfortable. Great shower.

  Liked: The room was well-sized to fit 3 adults. There's a kitchen and a dishwasher provided. There is also a heating rack in the bathroom. The room was bright and there were a number of food options around the hotel.

  Disliked: Note that the steps within the room were a bit steep. Also the room at the bottom level did not have have its own air-conditioning. A fan was provided but we found it to be a bit noisy. The room was a bit stuffy with the door closed so we mostly left the bedroom door open.
