  A good place to stay in a stunning city

  Liked: It was perfectly located and our host was extremely kind and solicitous throughout our stay. There was nearby parking and getting into and out of the property was simple and convenient

  Disliked: To be really honest, the arrangement of the bathroom (shower) toilet and washing facilities was a bit cramped and inconvenient. Also despite shaded glass partitions and a sliding door, the facilities were not quite as 'private' as some people might like. All in all, I think the 'conversion' of this room into a rentable space, did not leave a lot of room inside. There was a terrace upon which you could sit but that was not really usable at this time of year. We had no problems - but others might feel a little constricted

  Liked: Great communications and the perfect host with a personal touch. Ideal location

  Disliked: If you like quirky it's great but the large downstairs room has been converted to a pick and mix studio flat. Toilet outside in the hallway.

  Excellent location, also as a starting points for excursions to Amsterdam

  Liked: Very good location at the center of Utrecht, fantastic welcome by the owner. He took time to offer us tea and give us some useful sightseeing tips. The coffee machine (Illy) is a nice touch. We also received a list of good tips from the owner. The Cupp café around the corner is great place for breakfast (being French, I really enjoy the warm freshly baked croissants!). On check-out we could leave our luggage and collect it later on.

  Disliked: The micro-bathroom is a bit strange - The water taps are beside the toilet (above the toilet paper), and at least one meter from the shower itself. The shower is designed for tall persons who wash their hair every day (not for short women with long hair). I would have appreciated the option of a flexible hand shower. In winter the room is probably cold despite the large convector radiator

  Enjoyed our stay very much! We’d love to come back and stay again!

  Liked: The location was excellent, walking distance to the main attractions. Plus, near a bus stop so it makes it easy to move around to and from the Central train station.

  Fantastic property with ideal location and great host!

  Liked: Amazing location! The property is in the heart of the city with everything needed nearby. Included a nice coffee machine in the room with capsules that we were a fan of. We were very happy with our host, Henk. He is very nice and gave us great recommendations of things to do in Utrecht and some nice restaurants nearby. We had an emergency during our stay, and Henk was very helpful to us during this. I definitely recommend!

  Smallish living space but nice courtyard and very friendly helpful host. Location couldnt be better

  Liked: Great location and excellent communication with the host, Henk who was very helpful with links and suggestions. Smallish but the lovely court yard helped with air and space.

  Disliked: Shower/bathroom arrangements were slightly awkward with shower controls outside the cubical and the hand basin separate from toilet but it all worked and was very clean.
