  Brilliant stay!

  Liked: Fantastic apartment with 3 bedrooms (upstairs), and a living room and kitchen downstairs. But the highlight is a terrace and little garden with spectacular views! We had complete privacy and the whole place to ourselves. Appreciate the shower pressure and size of the bathroom. The house is situated at a higher altitude, so it was a bit cooler and therefore very comfortable to sleep in June. Fernanda is a great host and she cares about her guests. During the stay she checked if we had everything we needed. She gave us detailed directions on how to get to the property, recommendations for restaurants, hiking tips and even local events (by the way, her English is like a native speaker!). We felt great at the property, as it was a perfect place to relax and move away from tourist spots and crowds. Brilliant stay!

  Disliked: Nothing really. Having a rental car is a must if you want to explore the island. Expect a very steep approach road to the property, but this is the fun at Madeira with all the roads being a bit crazy!

  Liked: Very clean and spacious house with a great outdoor area and fabulous view. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. We enjoyed the peaceful location out of town but were still able to visit lots of places including restaurants within a short drive. The host was very welcoming and responsive to any questions.

  Liked: Clean, spacious, fabulous view. Fernanda is the kindest person you can meet. She welcomed us with her homemade produce. Always made sure we felt at home. Very tastefully decorated and furnished. Good location for nearby levada. 10 minutes to the beach and supermarket by car.

  Disliked: Accesibility - very steep climb to the property (not meant to complain, just bear it in mind).

  Liked: The house is a bit tricky to reach, but it's absolutely worth it for the peaceful location and stunning views. The property is modern, well-equipped, and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The true highlight, however, was the hostess — she was incredibly kind and welcoming. When she met us at the house to hand over the keys, she also shared great recommendations for places to visit on Madeira. On arrival, we were greeted with a thoughtful welcome gift of fresh fruit, eggs, cookies, and a bottle of wine. Throughout the week, she even checked in via text to make sure we had everything we needed.

  Superb

  Liked: The place, silent area where the house is settled is super relaxing; being waken up by the sounds of birds, and of course the view. Fernanda is super reactive, very attentive to our well-being: she is a super host!
