  Awesome place, great views and helpful host

  Liked: The location is great, views are awesome and it’s a cosy place. Fabio was an awesome host, always ready to help. There are also stairs going down to the main road so you can shorten your walk to the beach if you want (but it takes some time to climb back 🙂)

  Disliked: The parking (like whole Madeira) is quite hilly but it’s not bad to park there. I recommend to drive there down after turning right at Miradouro do Pigarro. The street is pretty narrow but not so far from the parking spot. Also keep in mind that the main entrance is located few steps down so you need to drag your luggage through the stairs.

  Very nice stay in Calheta with beautiful views!

  Liked: We enjoyed our 3 nights in Calheta with this rental as our base. It has a beautiful view, and it's very quiet and peaceful, especially in the evenings! The unit is well equipped with everything you could need and we especially loved being able to do laundry during our stay.

  Disliked: The driveway and the parking area is very steep and takes a while to get used to. The stairs outside the unit can lead you down to the town, but it's a bit of a trek. After doing it a few times on foot we got tired and decided to drive down!

  Spacious accommodation with great view

  Liked: Great views and plenty of space.

  Disliked: The is no parasol or anything to have shade at the house so it gets very hot in the kitchen area and it’s impossible to sit on the terrace between 12:00-18:00 on an sunny day.

  Well worth the stay!

  Liked: A wonderfully located apartment where we spent 8 days. Kitchen had everything, views included and the bed was very comfy. A few ants to deal with and a slight smell from the bathroom but nothing we couldn't resolve! Parking is a small test, steep hill and needs a run up in a small car but no real issues.

  Disliked: People passing by the lower Veranda; if you don’t know about it, it’s kind of irritating Parking lot tricky to access, but possible Ants here and there; as long as you do not leave any trace around, it is not bothering:)
