  Liked: The bed is comfortable. Good WiFi.

  Disliked: It was the worst price vs quality we've ever received while traveling. Normally we try to book local places to not leave our money to the big hotel corporations but this strategy failed us big time in Madeira. I will highlight just few points: 1) During our 8 days stay they didn't come to clean even once and didn't ask us if we need anything. Therefore we had two toilet paper rolls for 2 people for 8 days etc. 2) The towels are super old, used and smell bad. One of the sets we found in the apartment was so disgusting that we were not able to use it. We wrote to the place to receive 2 additional sets and they left them outside in a trash bag. 3) The place was full of ants. The small couch had always lots of them, the same a small table at the entrance. If you leave any open food or something falls on the floor, you will have a full scale ants invasion. 4) The sink was leaking water from the moment we entered the apartment. They fixed it on the second day but clearly while cleaning the apartment they must have saw it and still decided to do nothing about it. 5) They have carpet in the apartment but clearly it was never vacuumed. I stepped on it with my bare foot the first day and I had all sort of things attached, not mentioning even the quantity of dust. It is full of all kind of stains, has one of the corners standing straight up, so every time you walk, you slip over it. 6) You must park your car in the tarrace just at the entrance, 30 cm from the door. If you are unlucky and the second car parks too close to your place, then you will not be able to park or will scratch your car. 7) No shower gel, shampoo etc. I could continue but to summarise it was a very disappointing stay from the first till the last moment.

  Below expectations. A nice

  Liked: Nice location, comfortable bed.

  Disliked: The staff are really friendly but the whole prices and check in is really complicated. Facilities could be improved. The apartment is a tiny renovated attache/garage. A nice place to crash but frankly not worth the price.
