  Liked: The location was pretty nice, there were lots of animals

  Disliked: The pools could be cleaner, the interior could use a face lift as some parts were quite dated and in need of replacing

  Liked: Great communication with the propoerty, providing all the details regarding check-in. They allowed us to get in earlier than expected, due to our own miscalculations of timezone difference with Spain. The staff was always friendly and very approachable. The 2 pools are excellent for the high temperatures and very clean. The variety of animals is amazing, our 2 children were amazed at the exotic birds, the bunnies, mittens, piggies, turkeys, ponies, and even 2 ostriches!

  Super little casita

  Liked: Super little casita, ideal for our overnight stop and visiting Elvas. Simple but functionally furnished. Easy to find and access, and a tranquil spot with plenty of outside space if the weather is good. We enjoyed all the birds and animals, even the cockerel calling.

  Disliked: We had trouble using the hob in the kitchen but it wasn’t important.
