Fabulous
Comfortable apartments right in the centre of town, very close to the beach & restaurants
One of my worst experiences on Booking
Liked: Good location in the city center
Disliked: Unfortunately, this was one of my worst accommodation experiences. The apartment is very poorly distributed, uncomfortable, and in clear need of major renovation. The furniture and appliances are extremely old and often do not work properly. Even the door handles were falling off, and the hot water in one of the showers did not work at all. The mattresses were old and very uncomfortable, and the kitchen was extremely poorly equipped — literally only 3 glasses, 3 forks… It also felt like they had tried to squeeze an extra bed into the living room simply to charge for an additional guest, making the space even more uncomfortable. The apartment is also very poorly insulated acoustically, so you can hear the neighbours throughout the night. The flat looked nothing like the pictures on Booking, which was particularly disappointing. They state there is a coffee machine in the apartment, but it is an extremely old coffee machine in the common area, completely covered in dust. For the price we paid, I expected much, much better. It is difficult to understand how the property can charge these prices without investing some of the earnings into renovating the apartments and making them comfortable and properly equipped. Overall, a very disappointing experience and definitely not worth the price.

Great location and charming old building in central Ericeira
Liked: The location was great! It was nice having two bedrooms with two bathrooms. There are lots of good places to eat very close walking distance from the apartment. The staff that I interacted with over WhatsApp were friendly.
Disliked: The beds were really uncomfortable. There was a funny smell in the kitchen/living room. The refrigerator was really loud, which made a difference since it is placed basically between the couch and television. We could hear the neighbors and people passing on the street, but this wasn’t a big issue. Some of the dishes in the cabinet had dried on food bits. There was no broom to get rid of sand from the beach during our visit. There was a washing machine but nowhere to hang wet laundry. Parking is not easy, but it’s possible to find free street parking a few blocks away. Lots of one-way, narrow roads in the neighborhood with cars going too fast. It’s a shame - the cars take away from the charm.
