Excellent
Liked: Location excellent, apartment clean, bigger space than picture shows.
Disliked: Shower design leads to issues with water overflow into bathroom which makes it very damp
Wonderful stay, definitely recommend!
Liked: I stayed here with my partner and two friends and we loved it! The location is truly superb, the two bedrooms have a beautiful sea view, and it's just a few minutes walking distance to the city center and the ocean! The apartment is very spacious and has a balcony, a really nice living room and a nice kitchen with dishwasher and even a washing machine which was super helpful! The host Ligia was very kind and accommodating! Thank you!
Disliked: All in all we are very happy but here's a couple things to be aware of: As we were here in November/December it was quite cold inside the apartment and we only had two little electric heaters that didn't really manage to warm up the house well and you couldn't have them plugged in at the same time with e.g. the kette, because that would kick out the electricity. The apartment was quite humid, especially the bathroom which didn't have ventilation so it got very moist after showering, especially living there with so many people.

Liked: Everything! Perfect localization to go to the beach without car. Comfortable, spacious and pleasant. Close to the center, bakeries, restaurants.

Very good value for money and warmly recommended
Liked: I liked the spaciousness of the apartment and that it was well equipped. The central location was great. Apart from some (quite penetrating) noise from building works close by on the first day, it was also very quiet. However, we were there in March before the start of the tourist season and it might be more noisy during the peak-tourist months. Possibly not, though, since it is tucked away in a small street, about five minutes away from the noisy parts of town. I also very much appreciated the host's (daughter's) generosity when we checked out too late on Sunday morning!
Disliked: The directions to the property on booking.com were incorrect (the coordinates came up on google maps as a property in a different street with a different house number. Very close by but not the right building or street. I was at the given address exactly at the agreed check-in time of 17:00, but since the address was wrong, no-one was there to let me in. Since I do not have a mobile phone, and had no access to wi-fi, this presented me with quite a challenge. I did not appreciate the challenge, having been travelling since 5:30 that morning and since I do not speak Portuguese. But with some resourcefulness on my part, it all worked out well in the end.
