Exceptional
Liked: Very spacious impressive home with fabulous hillside sea view. Great long pool and garden area.
Disliked: Heating in pool would increase its use.
Wonderful villa
Liked: The villa is very large and very beautiful. Very well equipped. The location is great, 15 minutes walking to Ericiera old town which is beautiful.
Disliked: We travelled with a one year old and it's not very baby proof - not that this is the host fault, just to highlight to other travellers. The walk back is uphill which we didn't mind as it burnt off dinner, you can also get a bolt for 5 euros!
We loved it all. The pool and facilities
Liked: Everything, it was gorgeous. Big, carry clean, very well equipped and it’s obviously been loved and looked after.

Liked: The location of the villa was fabulous. Clean tidy well equipped with everything you need Felt like home from home. Carlota very helpful in advice where to eat and what to do. She was on call for any advice we needed. Made us all feel welcome.

Beautiful Villa, fantastic host, excellent location and an awesome place for a big family/friends holiday
Liked: Vila Martinho was beautiful. There were 3 families staying and there was plenty of space and everything we needed for a fantastic holiday. Our host was excellent, very quick to respond, friendly and helpful. The location was perfect a short walk to town and the beaches. Easy to get to supermarkets. The facilities were also excellent, the pool, cinema room, pool and table tennis tables. Plenty to keep everyone entertained.
Disliked: There was nothing we didn’t like about Vila Martinho
A beautiful, well-appointed house with magical views in a great location
Liked: The location was fabulous, with ocean views from the front of the house - especiallly the two upstairs balconies. It was nice to be above and a bit outside of the main bustle of the center of town, but within easy walking distance of restaurants, the beach, surf-spots, etc. The house was perfectly furnished with attention to detail, and well provisioned in terms of linens, kitchen equipment, etc. The pool/ping-pong/games room in the basement was a fun and unexpected bonus. It was the perfect place for our two families with almost grown kids to meet up and spend time together, and the perfect base for excursions to Sintra, Nazare, Lisbon, etc. We wish could have spent another week there!
Disliked: There was some construction taking place on a new building in the lot next to the house during our stay. It was a little noisy on some days, but didn't interfere with our enjoyment of the holiday, and will obviously only be temporary.
