Cozy vibe and welcoming staff
Liked: The most friendly and welcoming staff. The cosy vibe of the place is what I was hoping for.
Good for passing through, could use some updating, sweet little surf house

Liked: I had a great experience — excellent service at the rooftop restaurant from Mario and Vitoria, and Moon from the cleaning staff was also wonderful. Definitely recommend.

Liked: The Location was good but everything about this hostel is falsely advertised
Disliked: Upon arrival at Selina, we were shown to our room, which looked nothing like the pictures advertised. Instead of the garden view we had booked, the room overlooked a busy road and had a dirty nappy left on the wall. The bathroom was also completely different from the one shown in the listing photos. We immediately raised our concerns with reception and were told that we had been placed in the wrong room. We were then moved to the “correct” room, which unfortunately was covered in mould and smelled strongly of damp. The condition of this room is entirely unacceptable and poses potential health risks. Additionally, we specifically chose Selina for its social atmosphere. However, we have now discovered that all dormitories have been closed for the week — something that was not disclosed at the time of booking. Despite staff claiming this was shown online, we have checked Booking.com and can confirm that dorms are still listed as available. Given the false advertising, unsanitary conditions, and lack of transparency, we are requesting a full refund but have been ignored. We could not stay under these circumstances and walked out.
