  Great- We will stay here again!

  Liked: The apartment was clean, comfortable, and safe! There were thoughtful amenities like coffee pods and Bolo de mel(molasses cake) as well as some oil and spices. There were also clothes washer pods and shampoo. The location was great- walk to the Teleferico, the market, lots of restaurants and the fort. The beds were comfy and the water hot.

  Disliked: The apartment is right on a busy street so it was pretty noisy throughout the day, starting at about 6AM.

  A view to a kill

  Liked: The apartment is really nice, well located and with amazing views. The stay was comfortable and being by the old town, we could move around the centre of Funchal by walking. Even if it has no parking, it was no problem to find spots nearby (and there's a paid parking lot 50 meters away as well).

  Disliked: Thre are two things that could be improved to give guests a better improvement: - The flat lacks an air conditioner and in very sunny days, being at the top floor, it gets a bit hot; probably an AC would improve the experience significantly - It seems the drain in the bath room is not working well and sometimes gets smelly

  Probably best to stay on higher floors

  Liked: It was clean, I liked the location, even though it was on the edge of the old town, it was close to the beach. The staff were excellent. Also, it seems they take these comments seriously, because all previous complains had been fixed, there was oil, salt, vinegar, coffee. Tea, cookies, and the kitchen had all the basic appliances. Also there is laundry!

  Disliked: As others have noted, the street noise from cars was terrible on the ground floor.

  Great apartment in super location

  Liked: Great, well appointed apartment in a super location. Immaculate with everything you need in kitchen and bathroom. Really appreciated the coffee and cake. Great communication and easy key access which was very convenient as we arrived at 1.30 AM! Because it's such a good location, do expect a little noise from traffic or other happy holiday makers in the street!!!! It didn't bother us at all but bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper. Be prepared but don't let it put you off. Highly recommended
