  Great value with some letdowns

  Liked: This hotel is of great value. To get a room in Madeira under 100 euros a night is a steel, especially with a balcony and ocean view. I liked the area lido, with many restaurants around. Around 2.5km to get to Funchal. The hotel has a great pool area and and open area with a view on 11th floor.

  Disliked: When I arrived the cleanliness of the room left to be desired 🙁 I asked the staff to clean it again, but after this is was not still clean enough. The kitchen was a bit icky and the pan provided not usable. The gym was opened from 9am and you had to book the visit ahead. The indoor pool very small and although you had to book ahead, it was very crowded.

  Great location and staying

  Liked: Friendly stuff. We had a room with the best view to the ocean. Room was clean, big bed and very comfortable. In the room there were fridge, micro oven. So you can make your dinner and keep fresh food. The pool can be used as well. Good location, can access the Lido promenade fast and easily. 5 minutes walk is located the grocery shop.

  Great value with great location

  Liked: The location is decent, the staff was helpful and the breakfast had wide variety. The room was renovated and clean. The ocean view is amazing.

  Liked: The hotel is in a good location with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby.

  Disliked: No Aircon meant it was very difficult to stay cool. Access is up a very steep hill so it can be difficult to reach. Facilities are pretty basic. There was no way to escape the evening entertainment in the hotel room. The TV didn't have internet connection despite being a smart TV, so I thought that was a bit poor considering most hotels/airbnbs offer you the choice of singing into streaming services.

  I would definitely stay again

  Liked: Nice balcony, large rooms. Good choice at breakfast

  Disliked: Nothing specific, Staff could have been a but friendlier.. but they were polite and did as needed.
