Exceptional
Excellent base to explore the island
Liked: Beautiful property located right beside the thermas. You can find everything that you need for a long or short stay. We were welcomed by fruit and a food basket in the kitchen. It has a nice patio and comfortable beds. We stayed for 4 nights and found the location is very good for exploring São Miguel.
Disliked: Nothing I can think of.
Liked: We had a truly wonderful stay in Furnas. The host was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed, which made us feel at home from the very first moment. The location is simply perfect – peaceful, yet close to everything that makes Furnas so special. The house itself is beautifully maintained, thoughtfully equipped with everything you might need, and genuinely cozy. You can feel that a lot of care and attention has been put into every detail. One of the highlights for us was the lovely garden, where we enjoyed relaxing and spending quiet moments surrounded by greenery – it’s an absolutely charming spot to unwind. We would definitely love to come back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming stay in Furnas.
This place was great. Despite minor issues, overall I would return. The garden was beautiful, everything you needed was

Disliked: It was a bit chilly and damp. There were some leaks from the ceiling during big rainfall
Beautiful big apartment in the center of Furnas
Liked: Beautiful big apartment in the center of Furnas. The services were more than expected, the apartment clean, very big and well-located and the zone very beautiful. It is near to many touristic zones and has many supermarkets and restaurants.
Disliked: The only thing I would advise is that maybe you will have to park the car some streets away (5-7 min by walk), not too much, but sometimes is a bit dificult to park the car right next to the apartment.
Liked: The house and the host, Dora, were amazing. The house its clean, cozy and it is equipped with everything you need and even more. The position, in Furnas, is honestly the best because it allows you to walk in 13 minutes to the Thermal Bath of Terra Nostra Park and Poca da Dona Bieja. Thank you again Dora!
A dreamy house, we never wanted to go out
Liked: Everything! The equipped kitchen, the comfortable beds, the gifts on the table, the towels and the big tv with the possibility to see movies, the garden with the wooden table and also the kindness of the landlady. Thank you
Disliked: I saw a cockroach in the kitchen, but they are very common on the island.
