Liked: The location was wonderful and it had everything we needed.
Disliked: Parking was a bit of a challenge but I was informed of the parking situation before arriving.
Disliked: To install a washing machine would be perfect
The most unsafe stay my wife and her friends have ever experienced
Disliked: My wife travelled with a group of women, and they rented two houses. At the beginning there was confusion with the reservation: she was sure she selected accommodation for 4 guests, but Booking showed only 2. She contacted the host immediately and asked him to help resolve this properly. Instead of handling it through the platform, the host suggested paying for the “extra guests” directly and asked her to transfer money to his personal account (first via MBWay, then he sent his NIB/IBAN and asked her to send the transfer confirmation). That evening, friends from the second house came over only for dinner (they did not stay overnight). The host then started calling repeatedly, applying pressure, and speaking rudely to one of the women. He kept insisting on the extra payment outside Booking (MBWay/bank transfer). He also wrote that he monitors who enters via an exterior security camera and started a conflict over their guests. My wife asked me to step in because the situation was escalating and she couldn’t resolve it on her own. I ended up spending about 40 minutes on the phone trying to calm the host down and de-escalate, because otherwise it felt impossible to reach any agreement. After this, my wife and her friends felt genuinely unsafe: it was a house full of women, the door had no physical key (only an electronic lock), and given the host’s behavior they were seriously worried he might come to the property at night. Also, the fact that the host monitors guests via exterior cameras is concerning. They checked out the next day. I do not recommend this place. I made the booking on my account, but my wife and her friends (a group of women) stayed at the property. I’m writing this review based on their experience and my direct communication with the host.
Unsure about the value but it was spacious
Liked: It was spacious. Well designed.
Disliked: We had another guest last minute. But was charged for it which I have never experienced when you rent a 5 bedroom place, 3 bedroom and didn’t even use a bedroom but they up charge you. Pretty stingy about the amenities. 1x towel per person. No extras
Would definitely stay here again!
Liked: Spacious house, it had everything we needed, very well-equipped. They even had extra towels for the hot water springs, very helpful thank you.
Disliked: Difficult to park in front of the house to load and unload the car.
Great place to stay at Furnas
Liked: The house has everything we needed for a stay of around 10 days. We were 3 people traveling for business (and a bit of fun).and there was enough space for everyone. It was very comfortable and cozy. Gilberto was always very welcoming and willing to help at any moment. I would say that the location is very good, I could only recommend staying at Casa Nostra. We were very happy about this place
