  Charming rooms with great view

  Liked: Great localisation, close to the town, with a great view from all of the rooms. Modern bathrooms and a very useful common kitchen with coffee available. The house is generally very charming but some things are simply old (doors, windows).

  Disliked: The common areas and surroundings could be better cared for and cleaned more often.

  Liked: A very pleasant place, a bit old-fashioned, but you feel like you're in a Portuguese home. We loved it. Delicious breakfast, at an additional cost but definitely worth it. A very kind hostess, from whom we learned many interesting facts about Portugal. The view from the window overlooks the garden and a beautiful green valley. We rested very well after a challenging day of hiking and regained our energy for exploring the beautiful old town of Monchique and Foia.

  Liked: Great location in Monchique with easy access to the town’s restaurants. We loved the uniqueness and authenticity of the building and grounds. Great view from our room. Make sure to opt-in for the breakfast- it was one of the best ones from our trip!
