  Lovely retreat, high above the coast, with amazing views

  Liked: Incredible views, lovely traditional style building, beautiful garden & pool. Very kind host. Well equipped kitchenette. Overall a very nice place, would return.

  Disliked: maybe the style of the interior design could be a bit more up to date.

  Liked: We had an absolutely wonderful five-day stay at Quinta da Idalina! The property is stunningly beautiful, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. The swimming pool was a lifesaver and the perfect way to cool off during the hot days. What truly sets this place apart, though, is the hospitality. The owners are incredibly kind, and Idalina herself greets you every single morning with the sweetest, warmest smile. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!

  Highly recommended!

  Liked: We stayed in two quiet and cozy studios — very private, simple, but well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The place is peaceful and surrounded by beautiful nature, making it the perfect spot to relax and unwind. The staff was very friendly and always ready to help. Senora Idalina was an absolute highlight — she shared fresh fruit with us and proudly showed us the homegrown produce from her garden. The pool area is fantastic, with a stunning view over the hills, and the whole property is full of plants and animals, which gives it a lovely, authentic atmosphere. The owners also run a great local Piri-Piri chicken restaurant just a short drive away — highly recommended! We really enjoyed our time and would definitely love to come back.
