  Lovely relaxing stay

  Liked: The staff went above and beyond. Very welcoming and professional.

  Disliked: Dinner reservations had to be made up until 18:30. I wish I had the information either prior to arriving.

  Ok but wouldn’t come again

  Liked: Location. Modern

  Disliked: Soulless. Certainly not 5 star. No place to hang bath robes. No slippers. No shower cap. No proper cups. No tea or milk or sugar in room. Only2 coffee pods. Very poor breakfast.

  Very good hide away for relaxation

  Liked: The hotel is in the middle of nowhere; it is a very good hide away for relaxation. Room temp was controllable. Beds were very comfy. Parking in front of the hotel. Quiet. Room floor cleanness below expectations. Nice size room. Staff very friendly and helpful. WiFi was good. Ck-in/out fast and easy. Shower was amazing.

  It was a disappointment

  Liked: The breakfast was good, and so was the hotel's location.

  Disliked: We were given a room facing an old, abandoned warehouse; it looked like an apocalyptic scene. The room had a tiny window that wouldn't even open properly. The pool was surrounded by weeds, and the gardens were completely neglected. Security is lacking, as there is an area where anyone from the street can access the pool—there is no fence or wall. It was a disappointment, and I don't plan on returning.

  NOT a 5 star hotel in any country. View is great, but you can get better and closer to vineyards with normal ammenities

  Liked: View of the hillside was beautiful. Well worth the upgrade fee.

  Disliked: Where to begin… let’s just say they have the best marketing/photography staff… the hotel is located near what looks like an old wine processing or agriculture industrial processing facility. Not what we were expecting from the photos. We arrived and the gentleman at the front desk was very quiet and not inviting. There was very little offered in terms of a welcome (no glass of port, no water, no suggestion on where to park or where to find the amenities.. quite frankly no conversation or hospitality). We had to get our bags up to the room (not a problem, but don’t hold yourself out as 5 stars with no bellhop services). The room looked clean but was very dark (dim lighting situation). Upon further inspection there was a streak of what looked like blood on the sheets… no iron (in the entire hotel), no place to hand a towel or hanger other than in the shower or closet so not convenient. We resorted to cranking the shower to try to steam a dress and somehow set off the fire alarm after 6 minutes of a hot shower running…. The sink was clogged and barely trickle drained. And the toilet flush was set to attack mode…. Thought it was going to soak me every time. That’s just our room…. The cappuccino machine at the bar was out of order. There was no one down at the spa, no access to drinking water down there on in the gym (which felt like a sauna… but no towels). The sauna wasn’t working the first day but did eventually.
