  The perfect place for a Douro getaway

  Liked: It is places like this that make Portugal such a wonderful country for travelers. The inn is a stonehouse set in a vineyard just a short drive from Lamego and the Doura valley. There are great views from the property and and the beds, rooms, and furnishings are all of high quality and very tasteful. They do a great job to avoid using strong chemical scents throughout which we appreciated very much. Thank you for a brief but wonderful stay.

  An authentic Quinta experience

  Liked: Welcoming staff, felt authentic, lovely views over valley, completely relaxing. Great pool. Tasty dinner, free flowing wine.

  Disliked: Dinner was a little small by Portuguese standards though tasty. 35€ a head. Long way out of town which is a pity as Lamego is an interesting place.

  Liked: We liked the breakfast, staff & pool. We had a late check-in & Rita & her team were accommodating of this. The staff were very nice and we also enjoyed playing with the resident dog Olivia who was very friendly and sweet.

  Nice, quiet and refreshing stay with very friendly and helpful staff

  Liked: Welcome by the receptionist Swimming Pool Nice place within the vineyard Very good local red wine (would have loved to have some bottles shipped by the way) Quiet environment

  Very authentic quinta with good dinner

  Liked: Very authentic quinta in the middle of grapevine, chestnut and sweet cherry plantations. Nice pool for cooling down in hot days. Very good dinner for 35 euros, which includes three courses and local high quality wine. Highly recommended
