  Mixed review too isolated for us and hardly ate!

  Liked: Authentic house with good size rooms and great views to the Douro Valley Arthur a staff member offered to take us back to the train station on his day off which we accepted and was very grateful

  Disliked: A bit isolated had not realised this No food available for evening meal,staff member offered to take us down the valley but we didn’t go the staff member offered a meal the following night but we had nothing prepared for us I asked if we could have a takeaway breakfast the following morning and was told we could not though we did not leave until 7.30 am

  Disliked: Our room had a separate bathroom, ment only for our appartment, but still one needed to exist our appartment and enter bathroom from common coridor

  Breathtaking views

  Liked: Breathtaking views and excellent hospitality! It takes a bit of a drive up the altitude to get there, but it is not called "Bela Vista" for nothing—the view is absolutely incredible. The customer service was top-notch; because of an earlier business meeting, we arrived late, but they were incredibly accommodating and allowed us to check in well after the time advertised on the website. The room was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed, and the breakfast offered a great variety of delicious choices. Highly recommend this wonderful place!

  Wonderful. Should have stayed 2 nights to explore the area more

  Liked: Beautiful views, nice staff.

  Disliked: The main road was under construction so we had to take the cobblestone road up which was a new experience for us!

  Liked: Breakfast was fine. Great view from nearby viewpoint.

  Disliked: We took the room without balcony by accident. Huge disappointment. The lack of balcony should be highlighted in room description. Driving and parking there can be insane. No restaurants nearby. Food is impossible to get without driving. Paper walls.
