  Amazing property

  Liked: We were able to stay at Casa do Tamanquiero, a lovely historic 2 bedroom 2 bath home with a large property. Absolutely amazing! Felt like we stepped back in time due to the decor and age of this stone building equiped with all modern amenities. Loved soaking in the bathtub.

  Exceptional

  Liked: We loved the character of this little watermill and swimming in the mill stream. Such a perfect place to stay. The welcome tray of wine and nibbles was a lovely touch - thankyou.

  Disliked: Instructions on how to make the shower water warm would have been helpful. But this did not deter from our stay.

  A lovely position of you love to be by the river-perfect

  Liked: We did not have breakfast as stated in booking. I am sure if we had asked they would have provided so ask on arrivial if you do not see it. Lovely wine was there for us.

  Disliked: It is as stated and viewed in photos-expect that.

  Liked: Gorgeous setting and very unique house. Very antique. Café within walking distance. Good restaurants in Ponte de Lima 8 km away

  Disliked: Due to it being the beginning of season and therefore still very damp it became cold in the evening. We resolved by making a fire in the fireplace with plenty of wood that was supplied by owner. Heater was provided for bedroom made it comfy however pillows and seat cushions felt damp to touch. Owners would be wise to use dehumidifier to help dry the inside to make it more comfortable. Screens on windows will keep mosquitos outside.
