Liked: The building, grounds and room are beautiful. Powerful hot shower, comfortable beds. Breakfast did not have hot food options but lots of variety including gluten free and vegan options. You can hear the neighbors rooster from our living room but not bedroom - rather lovely and peaceful. Easy street parking for free.

Disliked: The bathroom door is quite loud - it is a large slab of thin rock that slides and makes noise, you can hear not just your own but from the room next door.

Disappointed—expectations and reality didn't match up

Liked: Great location, close to the beach. Good breakfast, large balcony.

Disliked: This isn't a classic hotel, but rather a B&B-stay. Staff are only present in the morning when breakfast is served. Check-in is handled via a digital key in an app. When we arrived, the key didn't work, so we couldn't get inside. Fortunately, other guests were leaving and opened the door for us. The room layout is very strange. There is no separate bathroom area; everything is in one room, including the toilet. In fact, the toilet is located behind a sliding screen, much like a sliding-door wardrobe. The screen is EXTREMELY loud, so if you go to the toilet at night, you are guaranteed to wake up the other person in the room. Since it is just a wooden panel, there is absolutely no soundproofing. There is absolutely no romantic atmosphere if you are traveling with your husband or boyfriend:) you can hear every single sound from the toilet. During our stay, a city festival was taking place right across from the hotel. The music started at 10 PM and went on until 2 AM. It was impossible to sleep; there was absolutely no soundproofing. The hotel had warned us about the festival in advance, but not that the music would be blaring until 2 AM! While it isn't the hotel's fault, if they are aware of the situation, they really ought to offer an extra discount during this period, since it hardly makes for a relaxing stay. Or improve the soundproofing system completely. The bathrobe and shower towels were stained. There were holes in one of the pillowcases.
