  Perfect for our family holiday close to the beach

  Liked: We loved the beautiful house and outdoor pool. Lots of space. Light and airy. Felt like a home from home. Great neighbourhood to walk our dogs. Marianna was a great host.

  Good stay overall, though some details need attention

  Liked: The area is very beautiful, surrounded by many villas and lots of greenery. It's quite peaceful and relaxing. The interior of the house is definitely more well-kept and modern compared to the exterior, which feels a bit more neglected. The kitchen has every tool you might need, and the same goes for plates, glasses, and cutlery. Mariana, the owner is always available.

  Disliked: Check-in is really late and check-out is way too early! For a large group, it's not easy to manage with these timings. When we arrived at 4:30 PM, the cleaning staff was still there, and even though Mariana kindly gave us an extra hour for check-out, 11:00 AM is still too early! By 10:45 AM, the cleaning ladies were already at the house and had come inside — something we didn’t appreciate. The Wi-Fi works poorly, and there's no signal at all outside. The BBQ is very small. We had to go buy cleaning products and sponges ourselves (for a stay of less than 48 hours), which we believe should be provided. None of the bathroom doors lock.

  A beautiful, spacious home with every comfort

  Liked: A beautiful, spacious home that is perfect for a family holiday. We had every comfort available to us: ample towels, spices, wood for the outdoor fire pit, a smart TV (for a rainy night). The pool and garden are amazing and well-maintained. The fourth bedroom is a separate annexe, which we rarely used, but this would be perfect for teenagers. The house is beautifully decorated and truly feels like a home. Mariana was very helpful and responded to any queries right away. The location is great: a residential neighbourhood with some shops and restaurants within walking distance or a short drive away. We also found it easy to get around by bus when visiting Sintra.
