Exceptional
Large apartment in a great location
Liked: Pretty well equipped. Away from the crowds and commotion of Sintra, but near enough to make Sintra easily accessible. The 1250 bus stops a 2-minute walk from the house. Takes you near the Sintra stop for the bus going up to the Pena Palace and related sights. You don't have to drive into Sintra and park in the sketchy lots. Taking a taxi back from Sintra costs only about 8 Euros.
Disliked: No towel bars in the bathroom - no place to put a towel when showering. Towel bars would make it a 10 for us.
Great accommodation near sintra!
Liked: Staff was lovely, instructions were simple. Ample gated parking. The accommodation was large and modern. Nice little balcony with doors that open to the main lounge. Definitely would stay there again!
Disliked: No complaints whatsoever about the accommodation- it was excellent. The only note for travellers is that it is in a small town outside of the main Sintra area so there are limited restaurants and shops in walking distance. We did have an excellent traditional meal nearby, but were very lucky to get in without a reservation. This location is great if you want to stay somewhere with an authentic local feel, outside the tourist area!
Great apartment to stay whilst exploring the many attractions in historic Sintra
Liked: The location was close to all the attractions in the historic town of Sintra.
Disliked: We needed to have the sheets on the bed fitted whilst we were already in the property.
Liked: Definitely need a car but centrally located to see a variety of sights and beaches. Host was quick to respond to any inquiry
Disliked: Saturday night was noisy with an outdoor event just around the corner.
zing host, beautiful views, and excellent location
Liked: I couldn’t have been happier with our stay at Cabriz White House. We were 3 adults and a 12 year old, and the property was perfectly comfortable and spacious for all of us. It also has a small balcony with an amazing view, where you can even catch a glimpse of the Palácio da Pena. The private parking area felt very safe, and the location is calm, surrounded by greenery — just perfect for the purpose of our visit, as we were attending an event at the Academia da Força Aérea. The apartment had lovely complimentary treats, including coffee, chocolates and biscuits, and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. The host was amazing — communication was always clear and constant throughout our stay. When we had a small difficulty accessing the key from the safe (completely our mistake), the host immediately volunteered to come to the property and arrived in less than 5 minutes to help us. We also requested a later check-out, which the host kindly offered at no extra cost. We will definitely book this property again the next time we stay in Sintra.
Disliked: Nothing
Liked: Location is good if you have car. Close to Sintra, not far from Lisbon. Really nice view. You could see Pena Castle, Moorish Castle and National Palace of Sintra from the balcony. Well-equipped kitchen. Good beds. Parking!
Disliked: Not for people with fragile sleep. Barking dogs and cars are audible during the night.
