Fabulous
We got to stay in somebody’s palace
Liked: It’s a mansion that they rent out rooms that are just beautiful and the food was great in the morning. The place is just beautiful right in the middle of town.
Disliked: Do not drive there it was insane. The town itself is a crazy place to drive. Take an Uber from Lisbon if you’re gonna go to sintra
Great for an authentic antique experience in the heart of Sintra
Liked: If you want an authentic, 18th century accomodation experience in the heart of Sintra then this is for you. It is literally a 5min walk from the train and you arrive to a set of stunning buildings in beautiful gardens and fountains bubbling. The staff were always warm and welcoming and breakfast was an excellent continental with free bread and pastries every morning. You can sit on your private patio and gaze down the valley, listening to birds singing and the sounds of the town waking up.
Disliked: The facilities are tired. The couch had water mark stains on it and the furniture, although keeping with the antique theme, is in need of some love.
Never again
Liked: The location was good.
Disliked: I stayed in Room 7, and it stank. The room smelt damp and musty. I couldn't wait to leave!

Liked: The location is stunning, cery decent breakfast too.
Disliked: Its an old building so quite difficult to maintain but the beauty of the place in general tops everything

Liked: Breakfast was excellent. The staff went out of their way to help. We were so grateful to them. They also recommended very good restaurants.
Disliked: We had trouble finding the hotel but that may have been our fault.
