Magical stay in Sintra
Liked: Elegance, hospitality, common roomand amazing staff
Disliked: Room was a bit small
It was wonderful!
Liked: The grounds were beautiful and well maintained. You could tell it was taken care of lovingly. Every room we saw was exquisitely well appointed. The food was delicious and everyone we came in contact with was polite, pleasant and helpful.
Disliked: The water was not hot enough to my liking, but I like a very hot shower.
Liked: Fantastic place!

Gorgeous estate home lovingly restored with beautiful grounds to enjoy in between visiting beautiful sites in Sintra
Liked: This is an absolutely stunning property and we had an amazing stay. The staff was welcoming and the attention to detail and responsiveness was impeccable. The breakfast was excellent and being able to have it at the main home was a special experience. The main home and guest houses are beautifully decorated and had everything needed to make for a very comfortable stay.
Disliked: It is located in a restricted entry zone and to get to and from the property to many of the Sintra castles and sites takes time and the taxis service can get pricey. There are no restaurants or eateries nearby, so Uber or Glovo are the only options for dinner, which must be picked up at the entry gate, which was all fine and manageable, but know that options are limited.
Unusual hosting concept at a beautiful property. I prefer a bit more service for my money
Liked: The Property is stunning & beautifully maintained. Gardens are lovely and a joy to walk around.
Disliked: The property is ultimately a ‘venue’ for weddings, functions & large private parties. However they make the villa earn its keep by having overnight guests. Unfortunately it’s not perfect. There are no facilities for guests. The advertised mini bar is not available in room. (Our fridge was not working & was definitely not stocked. ) no bar on the premises though we were comped a bottle of wine (warm). Perhaps an honesty bar would work? No food in the afternoon or evening unless you dine out or order Uber eats!!. Breakfast however was lovely at the Main property.
Liked: Wonderful view, the room was amazing as were all the facilities. The overall atmosphere is exceptionally romantic, nature intensive and luxurious… You have all the privacy as if you were at your own property… wonderful
