Exceptional
Lovely property and rooms. Very comfortable
Liked: Elegant yet comfortable. Wonderful staff, comfy beds, delicious breakfast and happy hour with lovely entertainment from 6-7. Only think would be nice is a walk in shower rather than a tub that is hard to get in and out of for seniors.
Disliked: No walk in shower
A Great Stay
Liked: This historic property provides an exceptional environment, supported by a professional and attentive staff. The grounds are meticulously maintained, and the location is highly advantageous. The facilities feature marble flooring, spacious luxury bathrooms, and evening entertainment on certain days.
Disliked: I suggest that management prioritize the replacement of bed linens and towels. For an establishment of this caliber, it is inappropriate to provide linens that show signs of wear and towels that have lost their quality.
Absolutely beautiful location and easy access to historic Sintra by foot, incredibly nice staff
Liked: The cocktail hour was a really nice perk, and we got upgraded to the fancy room which was really nice/unexpected. The grounds were beautiful.
Disliked: It would be nice if there was a non-alcoholic drink option besides tea/coffee/water for the cocktail hour, having some non-alcoholic beer or wine available would probably benefit a lot of guests.
Fantastic experience and we would highly recommend a stay
Liked: This was a highlight of our vacation. We celebrated our 49th wedding anniversary and the staff gave us a bottle of champagne, a note and some chocolate cake. Over the top! View at breakfast was like looking at a fantasy world. Loved the days we spent there. We were the only ones in the pool on our anniversary day. Loved the light jazz music that was in the background. Very easy walking to get to the restaurants we had chosen.
Disliked: Nothing!
Liked: Loved the outlook and seclusion whilst still close to everything. Staff were extremely helpful and happy!!
Disliked: Would prefer a standalone shower included in the room. A bit hard washing long hair in a bath tub. Thankfully we had 2 rooms for the family so this was mitigated by using the kids room.

Liked: staff outstanding, breakfast excellent and enjoyed wine tasting. Also the location.
Disliked: I stayed in the adjacent house -- would have like to stay in the main.
